Ghana\u2019s inflation has risen to the highest level in four months, hitting 8.2% in November (up from 7.7% in October), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/articles\/2019-12-11\/ghana-inflation-rate-surpasses-target-s-midpoint-as-cedi-weakens\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"><span class=\"s2\">according to<\/span><\/a> government statistician Samuel Kobina Annim. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">GHS is also the first currency which has almost completely migrated from LocalBitcoins to Paxful, which now makes up for 90% of the Bitcoin trading volume. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">This is attributed primarily to stricter KYC\/AML policies adopted at LocalBitcoins <a href=\"https:\/\/localbitcoins.com\/blog\/id-verification-update\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"><span class=\"s2\">earlier this year<\/span><\/a>. <\/span><span class=\"s1\">Paxful also employs KYC\/AML, but they don\u2019t take effect until an account has reached $1500 value, theoretically allowing one to fly under the radar. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Africa\u2019s population is projected to double by 2050. With a rising population and <a href=\"https:\/\/ktsl888.com\/2019\/11\/26\/binance-ceo-identifies-turkey-as-key-market-for-blockchain-and-crypto\/\"><span class=\"s2\">demand<\/span><\/a> for decentralized of systems of finance, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin stand to benefit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey recently wrapped up a month-long trip visiting tech entrepreneurs in Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, and Ethiopia.
